Lake Cumberland Speedway Race Results form April 29th
Burnside, KY (April 29, 2017) Lake Cumberland Speedway kicked off with its weekly racing series Saturday night under the lights with plenty of action. There were 17 late models entered into the $1,200 weekly racing series event. Also on hand were 10 Modifieds, 8 KDRA Super Stocks and 14 Stock 4- Cylinders.

Fastest qualifiers from each division: Late model fast time was set by Steven Breeding from Isom KY, in his Steven Breeding owned  #18 Swartz Machine. Open wheel fast time was set by Adam Stricker, from Batavia Ohio in his Joe Stricker owned, Pro powered race engine Chassis Shaw race car. Fast time was also set by Bartley Grant from Berea KY in the Super Stock division driving his Fraleys Automotive, Rain Maker chassis race car. The 4-Cylinder class rounded up the qualifying for the evening and Chris Lowe out of Isom, KY took fast time in his #18 – 1986 Ford Mustang .
Trophy Dash winners would be the #5 of Steven Breeding in the late models. The #68 machine driven by Adam Stricker took home the victory in the modified trophy dash. Super Sport trophy dash winner was Bartley Grand in his #43 machine.    The 4-Cylinder trophy dash was won by David Lowe in his # 18 Ford Mustang.

First Feature event for the night was the main even in the late models division. From row would see the #5 of Steven Breeding sitting on the pole just outside of him the second spot was #61 of Caleb Ashby. The main event would turn out to be a great one. As all 25 laps was went caution free with great fast race and Steven Breeding leading every lap till the end when Caleb Ashby out of Cunningham Tenn.  made his move in his #61 B&B Performance race engine and Swartz chassis to pass Breeding at the checkered for a 1200 pay day to win by inches. Breeding would see 2nd and Steve Stollings in 3rd , Todd Coffman being the hard charger of the field to finish in 4th  and James Rice would round out the top 5.

The modified feature event would see the #68 Adam Stricker sitting on the pole and the 13w of David Webb sitting beside him to start in the 2nd spot . the #68 of Adam Stricker would lead all 20 laps to win the $700 payday followed by the #13w of David Webb in 2nd, the #122 of Micheal Pratt in 3rd, #43 of Ben Petrey in 4th and the #509 of Kevin Copher would round out the top five.
The Super Stock Division would see Bartley Grant in his #43 machine win the $500 pay day with Glenn Hounshell finishing in 2nd, #44 Corey Lewis would take 3rd , Jason West in the #35 Machine would see 4th and #55 of Rick Epley would round out the top 5.

The fourth and final feature would round out the night with the 4-Cylinder division seeing the #18 of David Lowe sitting on the pole and the 1c of Burton sitting to his inside on row one. Chris Lowe would go ahead and lead every lap to take the victory in his 300 pay day in his 1986 Ford Mustang. Second would be Charles Burton in the 1c, finishing in third would be the 114 of Brandon Stephens, 4th the #1 of Jason Stone and founding out the top five would be the #19 of Thomas Stone.
